Microsoft founder Bill Gates divorced his wife, Melinda Gates. Both divorced after undergoing marriage for 27 years.
The news of the divorce was announced on Twitter. So far, both of them are active in the humanitarian sector through the Gates Foundation, but Bill Gates said he could no longer continue life with Melinda as a partner.

According to Business Insider, Melinda Gates met Bill while working as a product manager at Microsoft in 1987. Initially, Melinda was a little surprised by the attitude of his boss when asking out, because Bill Gates made an appointment two weeks before a date. Melinda commented that Bill was not spontaneous.
Suddenly, Bill Gates called Melinda that night and asked, “was this spontaneous enough for you?”
